Plant ID forum→Name these plants?

Hi I'm a photographer with an interest in plants as one of my subjects. I'm also not very good at identifying them from books. I have two images that I have taken this last winter when the plants have died back just leaving a dried flowers. Any help with the identification would much appreciated.
