as all goes now, I love it. I have a beautiful home on some fantastic property. I live in SandHills.
When I plant anything I just have to worry about Tree roots. Wow, What a difference than Ga.
I live on a property that was full of rocks. If I want rocks here, I have to import them. I miss those rocks.
I have brought a few down with me tho.

Did I tell you all, I am a plant addict. Pots ,ground or hanging containers, I love plants.

White passion vine I put into hanging container

Our DD and her business hubby moved to FL from Cali. She texted me today and said she "found" air plants growing all over on the trees! Methinks she will be wowed by Jacksonville's natural landscape!

I was thinking when I move to Florida, it would be warm. Boy, am I deceived! Cool fronts after rains.
I know I shouldn't be so concerned cause hot weather is on the way.
But dog gone it, my joints ache!!! Let the growing begin. I did get my brugs in the ground. Then in came the rain. I'm sure they loved being in the soil. Noticed I have a new plant coming into a pot , so I am not finished yet.
Oh, well. I still have so much to see and do.
I planted some Tumeric roots. Guess what I noticed this morning? Some little critter dug them up. Next time I put a wire over the roots.

Fear not, its usually not like this, .....AC on in february. I know Im trying to enjoy the heck out of it while we have it. Sure makes the flowers have a deep rich color. 8a gets some cool weather tho.

Hope you're settling in, weather was cooler but be assured it will get hot soon. Rocks are a passion of mine, I bring them back from Georgia when we visit there, I consider them souvenirs

I imported some Ga. rocks when I moved down here.
Even one my sister and I found on Grand river in Mo.
Been a while since I have been on here.

Hi Charlene. How did you make out with the hurricane I lost many many trees and my new gh. Very lucky though as no real damage to the house proper. Still very sad to look out over the yard. Oh well could have been a whole lot worse.
