Thread OP

Hello!

I love my beautiful monestera plant. So much that I decided to try propogation. So far the plant seems healthy, you can see the long root that has grown. It seems ready to be planted in soil. Any advice?

Thanks,

I'd plant it in a heavy pot with good drainage holes, hold off on fertilizer for a few weeks, keep moist but not wet, don't let the soil dry out completely, she's a beauty nodding

Follow Christine's good advice. I have better luck using a small pot just large enough for the cutting and roots to ft into. A small pot makes inadvertent over watering less likely. Plants also grow better when kept snug in their pots.
