I live in Yulee, Florida which is located just north or Jacksonville by the FL/GA border. I have two sets of two trees I am trying to identify. Thanks for the help.

Hi cwespalmore, Welcome!

Those trees look like the buds of Magnolias (Magnolia) and you will probably soon see the open blooms. We have the Southern Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora) currently blooming down here in Volusia county.

I must have missed that last photo and yes, it does appear to be Crepe Myrtles (Lagerstroemia) Blooms come in shades from pale pink, dark pink, white, lavender to deep red!
