Thanks again to Ellen, Mone, Annette, Jasmine, Luvtogarden, and all the stalwarts. I am sorry the heat made so many ill / tired, but I am still glad you were able to come. Evanston felt at least 10 degrees cooler than Buffalo Grove! What a contrast with last year's constant rain. I have been very restless wanting to plant everything, - this is my one week off- but don't want them to suffer, so have only done the ones that will be in shade. Jqsen picked up her plants with much eagerness Saturday afternoon.

Thanks for the tomato list, Annette. I've now ID'd most, and those others might have been brought by someone else. Oddly, I seemed to have chosen mostly cherry tomatoes?! But that's fine, I do like them.

All the botanical treasures are very much appreciated by me, and the 2 friends who are excited to be getting theirs soon.

Sanseveria family? Houseplant? Sort of a succulent. Leaves look very crowded together, though. Side view?

Linnea, here is another pic. It is a short 6" plant. Yea it is overcrowded and looks like Sanseveria family. On pot is written "indoor". Thank you

May be it is Sansevieria Hahni

Hi All,

I also wanted to extend my thanks to the organizers and other who volunteered to make this swap a success. I love this swap and feel it is one of the more gracious events and love to feel that everyone is digging up at the same time the week or days before and then envisioning us all planting in the days after. My trunk was full of bounty and I still have a plant or two to get into the ground. I love waiting how the new plants will do and seeing the plants from years past return with glory.

Have a wonderful summer to all.

The swap was phenomenal, this year. It seems to get better and better, isn't it? Thanks to all of you and most especially to Ellen and Doug for putting it together year after year. I am still reaping the fruit of your generosity and spirit.

This delightful tiny violet is making me smile:

Hopefully everyone had great summer!
As always am interested in how tomatoes did for those that grow them. Was interesting summer to grow veggies for me, very challenging weather wise.
