3 questions I have this large Cactus almost 7foot not sure of the species and need to trim the branches off To get them off the path.
1. What is the species of the cactus
2. What is the best way to cut the limbs off
3. Will the limbs survive if I replant them
Any help really appreciated

Welcome!

Its a Euphorbia - Not actually cactus - from (probably) Africa. I can understand why you would want to prune it.

Yes, prune. But be carefull because the sap of Euphorbia is an irritant. You can start more plants from your prunings. Let them dry for a week or so then plant them.
