Ive been trying to ID this without success. It's a nice ground cover for full sun and little water. The leaves are recurved. Evergreen here. Have a look. I tip my hat to you.

An intriguing plant! The blossoms immediately reminded me of Veronica teucrium, but I could find no foliage matches there.

The closest image I could find was the first image from a website called Arrowhead Alpines, for a Veronica called Veronica prostrata 'Ice Blue', but the second image doesn't match at all.

Good Luck!

Thanks Nora. That's the closest to it I've seen. I'm always looking for it at nurseries and wesites. I thought it was a species but I had no luck with that either. Tried to key it out but haven't paid enough attention to the seeds and other fine details. I thought the leaves would make it easy. The person who planted it more than a decade ago thought it was a Teucrium. Like you the flowers jump out as Veronica. Thanks for your suggestion. I tip my hat to you.

Could it be Veronica cinerea?

That's it! Thank you Danita. This one has been a real puzzler to me for years. I saw the term "extremely revolute" talking about the leaves at Alpine Gardening Assoc. site. Didn't know the term but it's a reference to the leaves curling under. Edited to add that this species was not in our database so I added it. This name was apparently used twice in the naming of two different species the other is now called Veronica wyomingensis that has Veronica cinerea as synonym. This may be why it isn't in the database but according to COL it's an accepted name.
