Hello All

I grew some gooseberry bushes last year but sadly they got this white powdery patches on them which eventually turned yellow and the leaves then died. We therefore had no fruit from these bushes. What is this and what do I need to do?

Many thanks

Its mildew caused by lack of air circulation and humidity. Your plants may be too close together. Also, in the UK, I would think they would need full sun.
