I put an order in to replace SDB Craisin. YAY! If anyone wants to start growing SDB's without investing a lot check out this site. They have some great ones for only 2.50. That way you can see if you like the smaller ones without investing a lot. Shipping is reasonable too. Thumbs up

I ordered 7 from him last night at midnight since I could not sleep. Something to do that late! He had some great ones at good prices so I got some little ones and some that I just wanted. I tried not to look at the whole list or I would have had too many for the space available.
Ardvark Lark, Eramosa Skies, Big Blue Eyes, 2 Pretty as a Picture, Class Ring, Zooboomafoo and Joviality. There were lots of other ones that I wanted but this is enough for now.

Their rhizomes are not the huge west coast type but everything they have sent me has survived and done well. Great prices!

I went a little insane and DID look at the entire list, came away with 70....such low prices that I easily averaged $5 per rhizome and only $10 for shipping....and I thought I was done online iris shopping for the year.

With their low prices combined with shipping it is a good place to really beef up your iris garden. Thumbs up

Okay, here goes:::Autumn Jester, Big Blue Eyes, Electrifying, Zooboomafoo, Grape Cordial, Reddy Freddy, Bluebeard's Ghost, Summer Recall, Open Your Eyes, Snitch, Alice Foss, Caveman, Brussels, Fun Lovin', Edith Wolford, Tara's Choice, Tall John, Ruffled Ballet, Boogie Woogie, Mad World, Mystique, Chenille, Joviality, Mysterious Ways, Telepathy, Versailles, Boysenberry Buttercup, Juke Box Hero, Tomcat, Chill Factor, Australian Rose, Bottle Rocket, Boundless, Definition, Mimosa, Conjuration, Strawberry Frosting, Mesmerizer, Back to the Future, Costume Ball, Batter Up, Pretty as a Picture, Stolen Sweets, Wish List, Artic Burst, Gypsy Romance, Queen of Angels, Publicity Stunt, Awesome Alex, Burnt Toffee, Silent Rain, Torchwood, Titan's Glory, Blue Trill, Deep Dark Secret, Fancy Dress, Lady Leigh, Lass With Class, Moody Blue Eyes, Puccini, Restless Tide, Brown Lasso, Young Prince, Art Festival, Witty, Blueberry Flambe, Peebee and Jay, Roy's Repeater, Ginger Twist and 2 that I had before but lost somehow, Hollywood Nights and Grateful Red.

Barbara, hope I got the one that you ordered that was on my wishlist! The pictures vary so much from vender to vender--some that I absolutely love the pic of on some sites don't look as impressive on others. Which did we have in common?

Leslie, I was hoping to get all of this year's order into existing beds but that isn't going to happen now. I have 4 50' beds that we created a couple of years ago (husband ran his yard tractor with a tiller attachment over them several times to break things up for me or they wouldn't have been finished) that I completely filled to overflowing last fall with my peony purchases. Have already started digging out the wide walking paths between 2 of those beds, had to for homes for the last few roots coming in and to move some that were struggling in more shaded beds last fall. Think I'll be digging between the others, leaving just a narrow walking path, to fit most of this year's peonies and irises....Narrow paths, less room for weeds to grow, right?

Wow, 70, Liz in Elizabeth! I really have to keep my total iris to under 700 - but I wanted to give Breezeway a try, so I broke my rule...Abby's Fire will have to travel alone !

Keep watch on Breezeway's site later this summer. They have a close out sale and it is a doozey. Smiling I usually don't catch it before the ones i want are gone. If i catch it this year in early days I will post. Thumbs up
