My boyfriend bought me tulips about a week ago. I potted them for indoor. I put them in a east facing window to get sun during the morning & some shade during the evening. I take them out the window at night as to not get too cold. They haven't bloomed yet but seem to be dying.. Is there A reason for this?
Tulips need blazing full sun; absolutely baking. So put them outside or at a south facing window where they'll get direct sun for as long as possible. Also they don't need much watering now.

Your boyfriend bought you a bag of bulbs? Or a potted plant that wasn't blooming yet? If they were already potted, you shouldn't have repotted them. Tulips are very fleeting so the shock of transplanting would be enough to finish them for the year.

My suspicion is that they didn't take well to the transplant. Plant them out into your garden and hope they come back next year.
