Went to Home Depot today with my Christmas Gift Card, $50. Freezing cold wind, bagged roses were still outside, sitting on a huge pallet with plastic wrapped around them. Had to rip off some plastic to get at them, and you know there is never enough height clearance to get a rose out of there without knocking a bunch of buds off. LOL.Grabbed four: "Cl. Morning Magic", "Cl. Winners Circle", "Ht. Freedom", and my yearly "Peace". However, there was another one there that caught my eye, labelled: "Precious Princess"! The label pictured a medium pink rose. I didn't know anything about it, didn't come up on my phone search. Still can't find it anywhere. The bagged rose had a "PARAMOUNT" brand, and down at the bottom, "MEA NURSERY". Website for "MEA" says: Mea Nursery, 17905 US Highway 69N, Lindale, Texas 75771 Tel: 903-882-7541. Somehow I found that Mea grows out chosen stock some of which is "discovered" by "Poulsen Roser" in Denmark. I sent an email to Poulsen this evening, and if no one can help me, I will call Mea, but I anticipate that will be a waste of time. I could be wrong. Thanks in advance for any help.

Frank ... PP could easily be a rose that is out of patent and is now selling as a new rose with a new name.
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

Frank, I believe Precious Princess is 'Rose de Rescht'.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.

You should have picked it up lol.... It is a stunning addition and I really hope you can find one too. Precious Princess is growing very well on the BC Pacific Coast zone 9- 1 st bloom from it. I asked them at Home Depot to open the crate- there were 4 of them in the row only ☼
