|Hi Rebecca! A while back plantladylin answered this, so I'm quoting her.
" First, find the plant in the database. On the left side of the page you will see a column that says Adding Actions. The first item is Upload a Photo. Click there and select a photo from your computer. It will take a couple of seconds to upload and then you will get a prompt asking what type of picture it is, "Entire plant", "bloom", "leaves" etc. Check off the correct box for what the picture is and then scroll to the bottom and click on the green area that says Submit.
Your photo will go into a queue for the database moderators and you will receive a system message once it's been approved".

|Rebecca here is a suggestion: Find the photo(s) you want to post from YOUR OWN PHOTO DATA BASE, and if you can, SAVE to your desktop on your computer with a name so you can recognize it.
Then go to a Forum, such as this one, start a conversation, and easily visible in the same panel you are writing in, you will see "Upload an Image".
Click on same, then click on the desktop image you want, and a one-line message will be inserted in your post. Then, click on "Preview" and you will see what you have typed, and the photo. If not happy with the pic, go back to the writing/composing, and delete the one line. Try again until you are happy with it. Cheers!

|Hi Rebecca, you can test it here on this thread. At the bottom left, click on the green area that says Upload an Image, choose the photo from your computer and open it. You will then see something that resembles this photo I've just selected from my laptop:
Once those letters, date, your name, numbers, etc. show in your post you can click the green Preview area to see your photo and then click the green area that says Finished.
Try it out ... it's really easy once you get used to doing it.
Oh, for uploading a photo to the database, you will first have to find the plant in the database that you want to upload a photo of and click on the left side blue where it says Add an image. You will get the directions and once you've added the photo, it will go into a waiting line for the database administrators to approve but you will be notified once it's there.
