Just collected a few hundred seeds from what I believe to a Chamaerops humilis - European Fan Palm, from in front of a Denny's Restaurant (I asked permission).

Does anyone know of any germination requirements I should know about for greater success?

Howdy there fellow Central valley neighbor. 👍😀
I doubt they need any treatment. They grow wild everywhere hear in Fresno. Cracks in cement, gardens, and everywhere in between. I have them come up in my yard, and there is not a tree in site.😮😮😮!!!
I figure the birds must plant them.
Soo !!! It's possible ? They might need to go through a digestive system in order to germinate. Shrug! . I've heard of that, for some seeds, on a few PBS shows.

Ttfn 😀
