Thread OP
Rancho Cucamonga, California
Hi everyone,
I recently found an Agave filamentosa with white curly hair on each very sharp leaf. I noticed when watering it for the first time the curls quickly stretch out straight, then immediately return back to their curl. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen a plant do! The stretch and return to a curl happens within about 3 seconds from contact with water
I am learning that I probably should stop showing others this to avoid over watering and have noticed the response by all of the white 'hairs' decreasing.
Has anyone ever had the opportunity to see this reaction and do you know what I can do to assure this doesn't stop happening?
