Trees and Shrubs forum→myrtus communis compacta hedge (Dwarf Myrtle)

I planted 30 Myrtus Communis Compacta (Dwarf Myrtle) shrubs in my backyard about 8 weeks ago and they are growing very nicely. Some of them are budding and some of them are not budding. They are all spaced exactly 30" apart in a perfect straight line. My goal is to grow them together to create a hedge. I am unsure of how to prune them and I'm unsure of when to prune them. Can anyone with experience advise how to go about doing this?
