I planted 30 Myrtus Communis Compacta (Dwarf Myrtle) shrubs in my backyard about 8 weeks ago and they are growing very nicely. Some of them are budding and some of them are not budding. They are all spaced exactly 30" apart in a perfect straight line. My goal is to grow them together to create a hedge. I am unsure of how to prune them and I'm unsure of when to prune them. Can anyone with experience advise how to go about doing this?

Does anyone have experience with my question above?
