My Vanda orchid, I have had for about two months, and was in bloom at the time with med green leaves. However the root system is about 2 feet long so I hung it up which then it received full sun most of the day. I began soaking its roots about every other day because they were very gray in color. The vanda has dropped its blooms and now the plant kind of looks sickly. The leaves look faded green and they look wrinkled like the plant is lacking water?
1. can I trim these really long roots?
2 Should I be soaking the vanda like this?
3 might it need fed?
