It looks like it might be Tussilago/coltsfoot.

I think they're cool because they bloom without any leaves. After the flowers are done, then the leaves appear.

You're welcome. It looks a little alien, as do all plants which bloom without leaves/foliage being present.

Here it is considered a weed but in your area it's a native wildflower. Smiling
