Mystery plant in the Plant ID forum

Can you help identify this plant please?
We did not sow it, it is self seeded and is now about 3ft high.

It looks like Epilobium, (Willowherb). The seeds do tend to blow around at the end of summer and they can then pop up almost anywhere,- usually where you don't want them!https://www.brc.ac.uk/plantatlas/plant/epilobium-parviflorum

I had this plant years ago. I liked it but my DH couldn't even touch it (leaves and stems) without getting a rash so I had to get rid of it.

When weeding and mowing mostly, or painting the foundation. The plants spread all over the place but eventually I managed to remove 99%.

Makes perfect sense, I was mostly going for humor though. Sorry if it missed the mark. I know that rash well, really miserable! I have a lot of various Euphorbias in pots and even though I know to wash immediately if I get some sap on my skin, I don't always realize it has happened.

I'm lucky that the sap doesn't bother me.

However my DH now knows to stay away from any euphorbias

- I ID them especially for him.
