What kind of miniature trees grow well in northeast Louisiana? They will be getting a lot of sun. I'm planting them in a front yard of a church and would really like to add some color. There are enough bushes and shrubs, so I'd like to add something special to this area.

Multi trunked crepe myrtles would be special. There are also smaller varieties of magnolias. Perhaps cut leaf maples.
