My iris season started off early with the iris reticulatas, which bloomed in February.

At the end March my Iris Germanica bloomed. I did not get a picture.

And since then the following dwarf and intermediate iris have bloomed.

The iris cristata have taken over my shade garden this year. I think they thrive on rain and cold. They are native to this area and grow all through the woods on my property.

I am annoyed by this NOID. It does not have a tag, and it does not match anything in my records. It is so full of itself that one would think I would remember having planted it. It is about 24 inches tall. I am enclosing multiple pictures. Suggestions anyone?

Mary's NoID reminds me of Epicenter. I checked out Epicenter's children and Brickle is about the right height and may be a possibility:

I thought it looked a lot like Epicenter as well. If it were not for the height, I would say that it looks like a dead ringer for Epicenter. It definitely is not Brickle.
