For 15 years I've had a tradition of traveling (by car) about 10 hours away for the summer. With pets, and other family members, and stuff like that, the car gets pretty packed. I have also, recently acquired, a large indoor garden collection, and would not dream of leaving behind for three months. Any tips for traveling with my garden? Things you should not do, and should do, and all that. Thanks! :)
P.S, I don't live in the kind of climate where herbs, and such could be planted.

If you've ever gotten mailorder plants you'd have an idea of how they are packed for shipping. You wouldn't have to take all that trouble, but they'd be fine if you can pack them up somewhat for a day. They can be wrapped in newspaper and laid together in a flatish box, for example.or stacked and crammed together, all depends on the type of growth, and you might knock a few stems off.
Bottom line, they can be packed into a closed box for a day or two and be fine if they aren't left in the sun.
If you loved me half as much as I love you, you wouldn't worry me half as much as you do...
