My uncle has this tree in Oxnard California my dad took a piece of it and planted it in San Jose California. Nobody knows what it is but my aunt in Oxnard says every year when it blooms these women from another country come to pick flowers and they make tea out of it. Anybody know what it's called?

It's an Erythrina. Can't tell what species.
