Hi Had this plant for nearly 2 years and has always been healthy, stayed in pretty much the same spot, in a west facing window, just noticed that it has suddenly got a lot of brown spots on one of its leaves, does anyone know what it could be or how to treat it. Thanks ![]() |

Those spots on a single or even a couple of leaves is not a cause for concern. As a plant ages, it is normal for an occasional leaf to discolor and gradually die. The spots are not a symptom of any diseases or pests. Overall, your Fig looks healthy and has held onto most of its leaves even after 2 years. I do find the upward angle of the leaves a bit surprising and I am not sure why that is happening. But, again, not a cause for concern as long as the plant is holding onto most of its leaves.
