Thank you, @quercusnut, Kyle. As for the Franklinia, I continue to be surprised at how happy it is in that garden. Many plants don't make it up here on my windy hilltop, but somehow the Franklinia thrives. I planted a Stewartia pseudocamellia about 30 feet from the Franklinia, and it died within two years.
