Does anyone know how to grow String of Hearts from SEED??? I don't know if I should plant them in potting soil, cactus mix, worm castings or just perlite? Light/no light? Moist/dry? Covered/on surface? I can't seem to find any info on growing String of Hearts from seed. I only have a few seeds and I want to give them the best chance of germinating as possible. |

Ceropogia woodii is propagated from the small ball-shaped tubers that grow along the vines. Set the tubers on top of constantly damp potting mix and they will put down roots and grow from there. Good, mostly indirect, sun and warm temps will help. Daily misting to keep the soil surface damp is best. Covering is not required. Thank you Will. Unfortunately, I don't have the plant. All I have are a few seeds. Do you know if I should plant the seeds on the surface without covering? |
