This is Lacey like Queen Ann lace but much bigger. This is on a creek bank, is 3 1/2 feet tall with a big diameter stalk.

Poison Hemlock (Conium maculatum) would be my guess. Lots of look alike plant though.

Or... possibly a myrrhis?



Lot of similar plants in this group.

Poison hemlock usually has purple blotches on stem, myrrhis has a sweet smell...

avoid the temptation of grazing on this plant until you get a positive identification.
