I think you're right. I had a variegated form once that had much larger leaves. Could it have been incorrectly labeled or is that normal? Also when it reverted to green it looked nothing like this.

You can compare here for yourself the relative sizes of several different photos from plants grown in different locations of both the green and variegated Glechoma hederacea. I don't/won't grow either. To aggresive.
