Hello all, Thank you for taking the time to read this. This plant is growing in a flower pot that used to be outdoors (it was not present when I brought it indoors). Now, the pot is being used to grow out an avocado tree seedling indoors. Initially, it was thought the plant was a pepper plant or velvet leaf, but it does not appear to be so. Forgive me if the plant seems a bit dark. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! ![]() ![]() |

Hi & Welcome! It gives me a Solanaceae vibe. Take a look at Solanum dulcamara: Bittersweet Nightshade (Solanum dulcamara) 👀😁😂 - SMILE! -☺😎☻☮👌✌∞☯🐣🐦🐔🐝🍯🐾 The less I interfere, the more balance mother nature provides. 👒🎄👣🏡🍃🍂🌾🌿🍁❦❧ 🍃🍁🍂🌾🌻🌸🌼🌹🌽❀☀🌺 ☕👓 The only way to succeed is to try. |

It does look like Climbing Nightshade whose leaves have a not so nice smell if bruised or crushed. If it turns out to be Solanum, be aware if you have young children or pets in the household because all parts of the plant are toxic. ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |

Thank you for your prompt responses! I'm convinced the plant is what the two of you suspected. Thanks again! I'll definitely be around this website. :) |
