Hmm.. not likely.. I googled Nicotiana & it seems the leaves come to a point .. mine have more of a spatulate shape .. either way thanks for trying to help Smiling

Reminds me of Nicotiana too. Lots of varieties, none of mine come to a point.

I hope not hehe the blooms are pretty but I also read they are poisonous .. is that true?

Do you mean for human consumption? I know that deer stay away from Nicotiana. The bees sure like the Nicotiana I had.

I meant is it safe to touch the leaves or flowers? That is very interesting! I wonder how the deer know to stay away

The smell of the plants seems to keep the deer away. I had a long planting along the property border and they stayed away from it. I handled my Nicotiana plants quite a bit and never had a problem.

Good to know Smiling I've been looking at the other varieties, more specifically the Saratoga Red & now I see the resemblance.. guess I'll have to wait & see Thank You!
