Thread OP
New York, NY
I want to grow some honeysuckle in a container on my balcony.

The container is 4' L x 1' W x 1' H. It will have a trellis that is 4 or 5 feet high.

Will this work for honeysuckle -- is it deep enough (1 foot)?

How many honeysuckle (around 1 gallon) should I plant to quickly fill the planter / trellis?

It will partly depend upon which honeysuckle you are planning to plant. Do you know the variety?

Two or three plants.
They grow big, with root large root system. Bed should probably be at least 18" wide, and 24" deep.
Ttfn 😀
