In the UK, May Day is celebrated in a variety of ways, including traditional May Pole dancing and Morris Dancing.
In France, May Day is a national holiday (la Fete du Travail or Labour Day). It is also called la Fete du Muguet, because there is a custom of giving lily of the valley on May Day.
