You can't have too many viburnums..

They are short/compact.

Thank you, John. Trying to find replacement small shrubs that will work for us is a challenge. It seems that there is always something that is wrong----too hot, too cold, insects, diseases, deer, lots of water, no water, the list goes on and on. The oakleafs looked promising, but the deer like them and we have deer. Nevertheless, one or two of these may be the shrubs of choice for our places.
