Hello! I've recently moved into a house with very messy garden. Huge patch of gravel with weeds growing all over it. I'm quite new to gardening and seem to have no idea what is a weed and what's not. I found this clump of plants that has come up quickly over the last two weeks, apparently called cypress spurge (?). Do we let this continue to grow? Or is this a weed that has to be removed asap?

It looks like you are on the right track with the ID:
Cypress Spurge (Euphorbia cyparissias)

Not a plant I've had so I can't comment on its' behavior.
