I am seeing scapes now on many of my seedlings, so the season is really taking off in my garden. Being in Florida, I usually see a lot of blooms in May and June.

Seedlings:

CCC110 - This is listed as having the pod parent "El Desperado" but I think it is mislabeled. It looks more like Bird Talk to me. Pollen parent unknown. Or maybe the pollen parent IS Bird Talk? Who knows.

My very first bloom on a seedling: SILOAM GOLIATH x ROSE F KENNEDY
Thumb of 2018-05-05/Betja/5a0910
This seedling is growing in the ground, so I was at the mercy of the filtered sunlight -- and I was excited because of the ruffles on a DIPLOID! But its size was not goliath, and I was certainly hoping for more color or more green in the throat area -- ah well, I do have a couple more from this cross that have scapes emerging...

This is a seedling (AMERICAN FLYER x FANTASTIC FRINGE) that I've used for the past three years or so because it's a great pod parent and I love the big green throat -- although the color texture on the petals is a negative for me. But I've been putting GUY'S OUTRAGEOUS frozen pollen on it, and I now have a couple of pods developing. YEA! Hurray!

P.S. Wonderful seedlings, guys!

Nice seedling everyone, isn't it funny how you can get just exactly what you were not expecting when you cross two daylilies, but it keeps us entertained.

I posted to the April forum yesterday because I'm old and allowed to have those senior moment's.
I wanted to say that this is the second bloom on this seedling and has been a favorite of mine since first bloom in 2016.

Betty, big fan of the big yellow!

Gorgeous as always Fred. I have another of your seedlings open this morning, but waiting for it to be open fully to get the shot.
It is the SP32-17-6W you offered up on the LA. More to come...

Here is what was blooming in my seedling beds this morning.
Seedlings grown from Hemlady seeds.
T#6-2: Down River Butterfly X Sexy Sally, Dip.

T#4 : Looking fairly consistent .(Critics ChoiceX Ed Brown)X Spacecoast Easy Rider, Tet.

Sattelmeier seedlings:These two seedlings look so much alike, and I don't care that much for them. They will be gone this year.

Now, this one looks better than it has at any time during the three years, I will keep it if it does not show any major faults though the rest of the year. It will look great blooming in the garden beds. Not a high bud count, or anything else special but nice. The fans really look very nice so far.
