I have 3 of these and none have looked great this past summer. I live in zone 4 and I was just out looking and none have started to bud at all. I realize we are a bit behind this year but I think they all died. I lost one last year. Anyone have any of these? Also, none of them have done much blooming.

I have about 6 of them in a fence row and have not been impressed, will not plant them again. From a distance they just look dead. The bloom for 5 mins. The rest of the time just look like dead shrubs.

I have to agree. I will probably start ripping them out. Now I have to find something to go in between my barberry "Lime Rocket" bushes. Maybe hydrangeas? Ugh!

I do have some sand cherry shrubs that I am pleased with, I think they would look nice w lime foliage. Or maybe something that is a very dark green, I'm not sure hydrangeas would have enough contrast in foliage color. You might also like the amber colored nine barks.
