I just got into gardening and found this light green seedling with many leaves or like fuzziness on it? The bottom was rounded and scaly-brown looking and this was near a fir tree of some kind, so maybe it was like that?? Thanks

Not a fir tree, I think, but it will be easier to name if you let it grow a bit so the leaves open up.

I agree that it's not a fir. Right now it reminds me of some walnut seedlings I've seen. But it could be something else, as it is still young.
