Thread OP

Hi! I've been given a potted euphorbia milii a couple of months ago; I'm really bad with plants but as it was given to me by someone I care about, I'm doing my best to keep it alive. Recently, it has started developing these holes on the leaves. I can't see any visible parasite that would explain the holes, and there is no other symptom. What gives? Any insight would be much appreciated.

It looks a little like self-inflicted injury, like someone or something pushed the leaves up against the spines and the spines punctured them.
