It seems that most years in my garden I find at least one Fasciated scape and this year is no exception. I am wondering if others are also finding them. I always enjoy seeing how many blooms they produce, but they are usually so jammed together they do not display very well.

The photo shows a normal scape on the left and the fasciated scape on the right.

They are fascinating, Larry, but the word is actually fasciated (just in case anyone wants to look it up).

I've actually never seen them on daylilies in person but I have on other plants. The most spectacular one was on a rose.

Well, I actually posted a link and still spelled it wrong! Maybe the moderator can correct the spelling in the subject title!

I just found one, it looks like three scapes in one!
