Hello I have this plant and it just keeps on dying on me. But some how I revive it. I'm not to sure what to do I gave it new soil ( organic) and I water it every so often. It also has sunlight. So I don't know what I'm missing?

Do you know what the plant is? And could you please post a picture of it? We could probably help if you can add a name and a picture. Thanks.

And welcome to NGA.

I'm usually all about saving anything, but I think this is beyond help... and I hate to say that.

when you say that it kept looking sick, then it came back- do you mean it often became wilted? the leaves kinda shriveled up and leaned over then and after watering it it perked back up?

Did it ever grow new leaves when you had it? or was it all the same leaves and one at a time you lost them?
Does your pot have a drain hole at the bottom?

Yes, it will not recover. It should not have been repotted. It needed to be located very close to a sunny window. It needed a thorough watering a soon as the surface of the soil got dry.

If you get a new plant, check in here before you do anything with it. Providing proper light and watering is critical to success with any plant.

I had to repot it. Because it couldn't grow no more. There were two plants in one. The roots were really bad.yes when I brought it back to life it had new leaf then started dying in me. This makes me very sad!

Most plants do best when their roots are moderately crowded, more so than most folks realize. There may have been two plants, but there was only one root system. When repotting, it is important to use a pot that is not too large and one that has drain holes. It is also important to leaves the original rootball intact and to disturb the roots as little as possible.

It's okay! go out right now and buy a new one, then don't do anything!
Don't repot- don't mess with it- just put it in your sunniest location, water it the way you think you should (every 4-8 days depending on the plant, its pot and your house) and keep notes- as soon as you notice anything even slightly wonky, come here, post a picture and tell us what you did that lead up to it- then we can save it

We'll get you're house looking like a greenhouse in no time- nobody gets it right on their first try without help...
