I'm confused. Are you asking what to grow this year? But then you say it's too late to grow.
Or what to grow next year? But then you say you've done well with Vanessa and Losetto.

To one gallon of water, add :
3 Tbls baking soda.
2 Tbls vegetable oil.
2 drops of Dawn reg. Dishsoap.
Mix, and spray til dripping wet.
Repeat every week or two.
You can't cure it.
But this slows it down.
It's in the soil. 😞

Next year, get disease resistant variety.

Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.

. sorry did not make sense . I grew ferline last year as these should be blight resistant . this year, same type. seem to have curled up quickly. I will try to buy some other plants , although probably those available locally will not be specifically blight resistant . but I will give them a try.
However next year any advice which type to try, I have had success with losetto & Vanessa, any others recommended
