I recently purchased a hibiscus with 5 full blooms and several buds. The day after I potted it the blooms opened completely then closed. Day 3, they didn't reopen but look VERY healthy. What am I doing wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong and neither is your Hibiscus. But, Hibiscus flowers open for 1 - 3 days, depending upon variety. Apparently yours is a one day bloomer.

Thank you! I found that out last night when I deadheaded the plant. Yup, it is a 2-3 day bloomer!
