Jackson & Perkins are running sale of their bare root roses.

This is not a recommended rose nursery on this forum , but I was curious so I called them
It took about 10 minutes before anyone can answer.

I asked the person who picked up the phone , what are the grades of the bareroot roses, she could not answer . she can only tell me that they are between 1 to 1 1/2 grade and have about 3-4 canes. But could not give grade for roses I was interested.

This was a red flag for me , of course I did not buy any.
A reputable business should know details about their product they sale.

Many years ago they were very reputable, but declined over the years. Now they are owned by Wayside Gardens. It had been nearly 30 years since I'd ordered from them but this spring they offered a couple of roses I'd been looking for, so I chanced an order. Communication was poor and I wasn't even sure my order had gone through. A few weeks later I saw the purchase amount had been deducted from my account and I got a shipping confirmation. The plants arrived looking great. These were 2 quart potted own root plants (they only way these cultivars were offered).
