I see a plant in my backyard and would like to know if anyone can identify it. If so, do you know if it's edible? Thank you :) -Ellie ![]() |

looks more like Portulaca oleracea , to me https://commons.wikimedia.org/... A pint can't hold a quart , If it is holding a pint it is doing the best that it can. |

Opposite foliage eliminates Portulaca oleracea. 👀😁😂 - SMILE! -☺😎☻☮👌✌∞☯🐣🐦🐔🐝🍯🐾 The less I interfere, the more balance mother nature provides. 👒🎄👣🏡🍃🍂🌾🌿🍁❦❧ 🍃🍁🍂🌾🌻🌸🌼🌹🌽❀☀🌺 ☕👓 The only way to succeed is to try. |

It does look like a Portulaca though, especially the stems. Hmm... 👀😁😂 - SMILE! -☺😎☻☮👌✌∞☯🐣🐦🐔🐝🍯🐾 The less I interfere, the more balance mother nature provides. 👒🎄👣🏡🍃🍂🌾🌿🍁❦❧ 🍃🍁🍂🌾🌻🌸🌼🌹🌽❀☀🌺 ☕👓 The only way to succeed is to try. |

yes the stems looks like succulent, but the long petioles eliminates any portulacas, there is flowering stem at the axils of petioles, very thin and skinny, if just OP can show larger images on that, and flowers details, it is tiny though.. |
