I just received my first ever mango tree, I planted it in the ground with a mixture of nature care garden soil, compost and a bit of native soil. I'm not sure if the soil is burning the plants because some leaves are turning brown from the middle, can anyone tell me a good soil for mangoes or fruit trees in general

Sunburned.
There tropical, so need shade from hot afternoon sun.
Your soil mix has probably has some fertilizer in it. So wait a few months before fertilizing, with I believe a citrus fertilizer.
If your ground it well draining.
Your, good to go. 😎👍👍
