Bee on aloe

This aloe is at my sister's home in Valley Center, Calif.
She & her husband are excellent gardeners, and are propagating banksias, and other interesting plants.

Interesting banner, Cal. I had to look at the whole picture to find the bee. It was cut off on my computer.

Incredible banner Cal!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Many thanks to everyone for all the thumbs, acorns, & nice comments. Smiling

I'm sorry I can't find the original image, but the flower stalk was the main attraction anyway.

I didn't realize the bee was on it at the time.....just lucky.
It's always a nice surprise to find bees, ants, spiders, etc.
later on when I crop the photos, and see details I missed. Smiling

Aloe flowers! And hunt the bee! I tip my hat to you. I have found all sorts of pollinators on flowers by looking at pictures of them later.

Aloe ferox or hybrid maybe?
