Weed is a thin stalk with a small white flowering head. The weed is approximately 5 inches in height. It is scattered throughout a fescue/KBG lawn.

Any ideas on how to treat?

Garden Sages Plant Identifier
Your plant might be easier to ID is we knew where it was growing. Different plants are more likely to show up in different areas in the US and anywhere in the world, even though the hardiness zone is the same.

It looks like a plant that grows wild in my area called "Candytuft".

How many petals do the blooms have? I couldn't see. The pics remind me of a Valarianella sp.
