Dear gardeners,

I've planted my zucchini two weeks ago and they seem to have some leaf problems. The leaves gradually turn white, with the areas around the veins staying green. They become really dry, even though the plants are well watered. Some leaves look perfectly fine though. I pinched one off and made a photo Smiling can somebody help me out? Thanks all!

More info needed.
Picture of whole plant needed.
Did you direct seed, or use transplants ?
Check back of leaves for any bugs ?
Has there been a sudden spike in hot temperatures ?
How deep do you let soil dry between watering's ?
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.

Hello Filip. Thanks for replying. I don't have a picture of the whole plant at the moment, but it is a very young plant, two small green leaves looking great and two diseased ones. I grew them from seed indoors and transplanted them outside when the weather was good. There have been a few unusually hot days lately, temperatures were reaching 79 degrees. I couldn't find any bugs on the back of the leaves.

It looks like sunburn. Did you get them used to being out in the sun gradually over a period of a week or two at least, or did they go straight from indoors into the garden?
