I figure it's a tuberous begonia, but I'm really not sure. Anybody have an idea, better yet which variety?

It looks like a x tuberhybrida variety to me also; both the leaf type/shape and bloom fits!

Thank you Lin, yeah I agree that's what I put it under in the database since I can't be certain the cultivar.
