Hi all,

I am brand new to growing vegetables and live in the Philadelphia suburbs. I planted 3 pepper plants a few weeks ago (after the last frost of the season). One of them is doing well and has actually already started growing a pepper. The other two have these brown spots on them as shown in the picture below. Of the two with the spots, one has grown even more than the one that already has the start of a pepper. I've researched on google, but keep finding conflicting information so I am hoping someone can help me out.

Looks to me like a slight case of sun scald. Nothing to worry about if that is as I suspect.

Yes I agree. Looks like sun-damage. The plant looks otherwise very healthy.
