Hi SR666, Welcome!

Is that ice on the ground where the plants are growing? Are these photos current or were they taken at another time of year? I'm not sure what the plant is but it's quite interesting. My first thought was flower buds and then when I enlarged the photos, I thought possibly seedpods of some sort but it's difficult to tell.

Is it possible to post a photo showing the plants from a little distance? Are there any leaves present on any of them? Hopefully someone will recognize it but additional photos may help in identification.

It is a seed pod from a spring bulb...something like Chionodoxa.

I think that's a rock, not ice.

Rolling on the floor laughing and I recently had cataracts removed and thought my vision was so much better. Green Grin!

I really thought it was a block of ice but I guess I have a good excuse since I live in a part of Florida that sees little ice or rocks ... just lots of sand around here. Rolling on the floor laughing

LOL! I wasn't totally sure either. That's an icy looking rock! There are no rocks here either. Every time I go somewhere where there are rocks, I bring some home.
